The Armenian Youth Federation of South America has participated of the 4th Social Forum of the Americas which took place in Asunción, Paraguay from the 11th to the 15th of August.

This Forum, is part of the global movement called “Foro Social Mundial” which started in 2001 (Worldwide Social Forum) that defends the human rights, the workers rights, the environment; it is against the capitalism and the negative effects of the globalization. In political terms, the ideas are socialist and progressive.

Սույն թվականի օգոստոսի 18-22-ը Դիլիջան քաղաքում տեղի ունեցավ ՀՅԴ Հայաստանի Երիտասարդական Միության ամենամյա համահայաստանյան բանակումը, որը տեւեց հինգ օր: Բանակումին մասնակցում էին Հայաստանի բոլոր մարզերից` այդ թվում նաեւ Երեւանից:  Ընդհանուր մասնակիցների թիվը հասնում էր երկու հարյուրի:
